Craig Parton's Apologetics Seminar
Defending the Biblical Gospel
This seminar is designed to prepare Christians to be “ready to give an answer to
every man who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” (1 Peter 3:15).
Craig Parton, in easy to understand terms, shows that Christianity is the only
rational and fully defensible alternative to the despair and wreckage wrought by
secularism and that Christianity has the answers to the critical answers of life.

The seminar covers the following topics:

Defending the Defense of the Faith:
The Historical Development of the Secular Age, Misguided Liberal and
Fundamentalism Responses to the Secular Age, and Why the Faith Must be
    Vigorously Defended.

Apologetics as Evangelism:
How the Church Should Respond to the Secular Age, Objections to Doing
Apologetics (including that Apologetics threatens the Doctrine of Sola Gratia).
Lawyers and the Legal Defense of the Gospel.

Apologetics and the Holy Spirit:
    Apologetics and Salvation
Applying Secular Reasoning to the Case for Christianity.

The Case for Christianity:
The Historicity of the Biblical Gospel.
    The Critical Argument for Christianity.
The Reliability of the New Testament Documents.
Why Higher Criticism of the Bible has been Discredited.
Building Bridges and not Walls Through Apologetics.

The Defense of the Biblical Gospel to Those Inclined to Think With Their
Feelings:
    Tough versus Tender-minded People.
Appealing to the “Higher Level” Tender-minded.
Unique Opportunities to Evangelize the Higher Level Tender-minded Through
    the Arts.
Becoming a Renaissance Christian and Developing a Life-long Reading List in
    Apologetics.

International Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism and Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.  This seminar is particularly
helpful for all who are interested in seriously defending the Gospel in a culture which is now experiencing the fruits of three
hundred years of secularism. This seminar will also show how legal reasoning and the rules of evidence can be persuasively
employed in the presentation of Christianity’s central truth claims in a age of unbelief. This seminar is designed to be held on
a weekend.
